The captain threw some bread in the water and the tiger fish had a frenzy. It was almost scary to have so many fish around you.

A sea snake - turns out they are very poisonous, but their mouth is not big enough to bite you… well other than your fingers. Otherwise they would be trouble.

Welcome to Thailand

We left Langkawi and arrived in Thailand at Koh Lipe, a national park, after a quick day sail.

Thailand is everything you imagined and more. Ali posing at beautiful Koh Lipe.

There were lots of hermit crabs so we started some races. Ali has a knack for picking winners!

We hiked around the island and had the idea of hiring a long tail boat like this one.

But first we had to hike back to the center of town. The steps were super steep and the railing was not always there.

This is long tail boat central where we hired our boat.

Beautiful cliffs surround the islands.

Omar the Merman! Of course we went snorkeling and there are plenty of pictures of fishes, but I saved that for the next post.
