We are really in Switzerland right now, and loving it!, but Omar’s cousin Nicole took us to Munich for his birthday weekend to visit more family, eat amazing food, and spend an action packed weekend enjoying life in Germany - which is pretty awesome - beer, giant pretzels, and BMW!
Omar and his very welcoming cousin Nicole outside the old wall of Munich.
Halloween costumes or traditional German wear???
The Rathaus-Glockenspiel at Munich Town Hall. There’s chimes and moving people (for those with binoculars) celebrating the marriage of a Duke Wilhelm V . . the very same duke who started the Hofbrauhaus brewery in Munich. Coincidence??? I think not!
I am immortalized in the town of Munich!
Omar and I at one of the many fountains in Munich.
In a clockwise direction Mateo, Nikki, Nicole, Omar, Oliver, and Luis - Omar’s family in Munich and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Happy Vegan Birthday Cake Omar!
The BMW factory, show room and museum.

A view of Munich from the Olympic Tower at 200 meters.
Munich Olympic Park - still very much in use after the 1972 Olympics.
We spent a morning visiting the Andechs Abbey/brewery just outside Munich.
Since church was in session - we just headed straight to the beer garden with the other heathens!
And what trip to Germany would be complete without a drive on the autobahn??? You don’t even want to know what the speedometer said! (But Omar did - so he had to look up kmh to mph!)
