We arrived at Phuket and left our home away from home Tropicbird. We stayed in Old Town Phuket were we knew it would be quieter and rented scooters to go explore the island.
Big Buddha overlooks the whole island of Phuket and is a great scooter ride to visit.
Ali got a blessing by a Buddhist monk.
We spent the rest of our time walking around Old Phuket Town away from the tourist crowds and finding gems like these.
Maybe do a bike tour of Thailand?
They just keep things in service around here.

We went to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center where they take rescue gibbons and try to release them into the wild. If you visit Thailand please do not support illegal gibbon trade by taking your picture with one of them at the tourist traps.
